I think the desire to build something of our own, and being able to imagine that as a possibility is pretty cool. I think a big part of it is my complete inability to do jobs/anything in life that doesn't align with my soul - the need to do jobs that I find purpose in, the inability to do anything if I don't believe in it - means it feels like a physical impossibility to live a more 'conventional' life. Also, after a year of looking for houses, I go completely bored, and would've agreed to buy anything! Haha
